She was born Jul 20, 1916, in the township of Franzen, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Goskowicz) Stroik. On Nov 4, 1933, she was united in marriage to Raymond Groshek in Galloway. He preceded her in death Mar 28, 1998.
Regina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galloway, and its Rosary Society. She enjoyed watching the birds at her feeders, gardening, canning, cooking, flowers and playing Pinochle. She also loved spending time with her family and her cat, Ashes.
She is survived by her children, R. Leroy (Carol) Groshek, Amherst Junction, Ralph (Betty) Groshek and Ronald (Helen) Groshek, both of Milwaukee, Joyce (Wallace) Bembenek, Pewaukee, Natalie (Wayne) Staley, Rothschild, Joe (Sue) Groshek, New Berlin, Dennis (Virginia) Groshek, Amherst Junction, Fred (Elaine) Groshek, Wittenberg, George (Barbara) Groshek, Eland, and Cliff (Bonnie) Groshek, Elderon; 52 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Jeanne Groshek, Elderon; two sisters, Laura Wolashek and Theresa Cisewski, both of Stevens Point; one brother, Sylvester (Alice) Stroik, Stevens Point; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Norbert and Mark; grandson, Matthew; two sisters, Frances Suchon and Verna Platta; and two brothers, Dominick Stroik and Ernest Stroik.
