Bill Wells, 84, of Waco died late Thursday at a Waco hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Connally-Compton Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, the Rev. Bryan Thronberg officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Wells worked as a guard at Ridgewood Country Club for 11 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Marie Wells; two daughters, Mrs. Weldon (Marie) Harris of Colorado and Mrs. Ruth McGrath of Fort Worth; two sons, Neal Wells and Wayne Wells, both of Waco; a sister, Mrs. Clyde Trigg of Grand Prairie; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
