Cotton Pinson was one of the best people that I have ever known. He was one of my best friends and a brother in law. He was loved by all who knew him and was a great husband and father. He served his country in World War II, having fought on the front lines in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for his actions after coming home from that war. He worked several years at the Texas Brick Plant in Brownwood. Not enough good things could be said about this man. He was one of a kind and is missed by all who knew him. The picture at left is him and first wife and the mother of two of his children.
