Mr. Miller was born in China Spring and attended schools in Waco. He was a civilian engineer in the Telecommunication Lab of the British University of Aircraft Production in Bourmemouth, England, prior to World War II. While in England, he attended Cambridge University.
In 1942 he enlisted in the Air Force and served through 1946 in the Aircraft Radiation Lab at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. In 1948 he was a civilian engineer in the Air Force.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Institute of Radio Engineers, charter member of Professional Electrical Warfare Organization and the Association of Old Crows. He retired Aug. 9.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa (Duckett) Miller; two daughters, Dr. Rosamond M. Mitchell of Centerville, OH and Mrs. Marsha Miller of Houston;and one grandchild.
