Eilers, Daleine M. 64, of Mears, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 in Muskegon. She was born May 6, 1945 to Dale and Marian (Beachum) Herin. Daleine was raised east of Hart and attended Brooks School. She graduated from Hart High School and worked as a nurses aid before becoming a licensed practical nurse. She lived in Mears for the past 40 years. Daleine was employed by Lakeshore Hospital in Shelby for 33 years. She also worked at Muskegon General Hospital and at a nursing home in Muskegon. She was a member of the Great Lakes Recreational Leader Laboratory and had served on the board and as president. Daleine is survived by her sons, Kent (Ruth) Eilers and Westcott Eilers; grandchildren, Jordan and Emily Eilers; brother, Michael (Susan) Herin; niece, Shannon Herin; nephew, Kyle Herin; and former husband, Thomas Eilers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Marian Herin. Interment will be in Ferry Township Cemetery.
