BLUMENTHAL, Sara G., 91, of Tucson, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011.
Preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Blumenthal; sister, Bertha Korn and brother, Jacob Schachter; she is the devoted mother of Sharon (Richard) Walton; cherished grandmother of Adam Walton, Jessica Walton, Jonathon Pearlman and Michael Pearlman, also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blumenthal was an active member of Congregation Anshei Israel and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff at Casa de la Luz Hospice and her caregiver, Janice Johnson.
A graveside service was held in the Congregation Anshei Israel section of Evergreen Cemetery, 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, with Rabbi Robert Eisen officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Congregation Anshei Israel Rabbi's Discretionary Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
