Sarah Anne Cox Beasley was born March 3, 1854 and died at her home in Davis City, Iowa on November 26, 1914.

She was united in marriage to James K. Beasley on the 25th of September 1870. To this union were born twelve children, four of whom have preceded the mother to the great beyond.
Those living are: Charles Stephen Beasley, Viola Beasley Benton, Emma Elizabeth Beasley Harris, Martha Jane Beasley Miller, Nellie Marie Beasley McCully, Iowa Ione Beasley Robbins, Sarah Lurena Beasley Fitch, and Opal Roberta Beasley Pease

The deceased united with the Baptist Church January 1871 and has been a faithful member.

The funeral services were held at Bethel Church on Saturday, November 28, by Rev. Alba Dale and Rev. Campbell. A few comforting words were spoken from 1st Cor. 15:49, after which the body was tenderly laid to rest in the Bethel Cemetery.
