Mrs. Emma Jane Witt, 83, died at the home of a daughter in Eldon Saturday. Mrs. Witt was born Sept. 24, 1882, at Brumley, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Wright. She was married to William M. Witt in 1902. He died July 19, 1957.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Simpson and Mrs. Mamie Harbison, both of Eldon; four sons, Clarence Witt, Alba, Homer Witt and Burleigh Witt, both of Eldon and Dewey Witt, Sacramento, Calif. Twenty one grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Three sisters, Mrs. Lena Edwards, Eldon, Mrs. Grace Lee, Warsaw and Mrs. Marinda George, Ulman; one brother, Jim Wright of Tuscumbia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Ninth Street Christian Church in Eldon. The Rev. Roy Weece will officiate with burial in the Tuscumbia Cemetery.
