Myrtice Bailey Burgess
MOULTRIE — Myrtice Bailey Burgess, 84, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb 7, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Farmer officiating.
Interment will be in Westview Cemetery.
Born Dec. 24, 1926, in Wilcox County, she was the daughter of the late William Bailey and Caroline Stidmon Bailey.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Burgess, and several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
