Annie King Smith was Edward Smith's second wife. Together, they had six children: Warren Edgar, Caroline L., Clark Duane , Alice L., Nellie, and Eddie. Annie was also step-mother to George E., William J. Francis L., Orville R., and Sidney James. Edward Smith's first wife was Annie's older sister, Pricilla. Pricilla died in September 1969, shortly after giving birth to Sidney.
(Note to wyates:I am not related to Annie King Smith. William J. Smith, who spent 26 years as a lighthouse keeper in California, is a research subject of mine.)
