Andreas Meffert arrived in Philadelphia, 26 Sep 1749, on the ship RANIER from Rotterdam via England.
From the year 1753 to the year 1760 Andreas Meffert appears on the Tax List for Chester County, Pennsylvania. It is not certain where he lived from his time of immigration in 1749 but in all probability he remained with his cousin, Egidius Meffert in Philadelphia County.

When Andreas and Magdalene Meffert arrived in the United States they had three living children. There is a nine year span between the birth of the eldest son and their youngest son but NO OTHER CHILDREN HAVE BEEN FOUND FOR ANDREAS. Only the one daughter and two sons were named in Andreas' will.
