CARTHAGE - Funeral services for Eldoria Ellen Palmer Barnhill, 88, of DeBerry will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at DeBerry Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Barnhill, the Rev. Travis Gulley and Sister Mozelle Gerald officiating. Burial will be in DeBerry Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mrs. Barnhill died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, in Carthage. She was born Oct. 9, 1922, in Marianna, Fla., to Vernon H. and Satsie Olive Palmer. Mrs. Barnhill was a member of Waskom United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her children, Gloria Dean McGee of DeBerry, Mozelle Gerald of Orange and Emerson Glen Barnhill of Silsbee; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be David McGee, Greg Gerald, Wade Gerald, Darrell Yates, Timothy Hudson, Jacob Gaspard and David McGee, Jr. Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home.
