Richard Howard Latham was born July 5, 1854, in Choctaw County, Miss., the son of Lawrence & Mary Eliza "Randolph" Latham. He married Mary Willie Lawhorn Dec. 15, 1875 in Forest, Miss. Mary Willie (Lawhorn) Latham was born Apr. 1858 in Scott County, Miss., the daughter of Noah & Harriet (Slay) Lawhorn. She died Jan. 20, 1923 in Ellis Co., Texas. Richard & Mary Willie came to Texas, from Scott Co., Miss.Richard H. & Mary Willie Latham had 12 children.
