Harry Don Kays was born November 21, 1921, at Gravios Mills to Hugh B. and Lela Bonine Kays. He was their fourth child. Harry passed away in his home at the age of 84, on Sunday August 7, 2005.
Preceding him in death was his parents, two sons, David and Daniel Kays and his brothers, Hubert, Elmo and Truman.
Survivors include one son, Michael Kays and wife Sherry, Belton; one daughter, Linda Kays, Clinton; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother Norman Kays, Independence and one sister, Lucille Woolery, Versailles.
Harry was a veteran of the United States Army and had worked a tool and die inspector with Bendix/Allied Signal retiring in the middle 1980's. While at Bendix/Allied Harry was a member of their bowling team. He was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church. Harry love to read western books and also enjoyed fishing mainly with his family.
Graveside services only because Harry was brought to Stover Cemetary.
