Hannah's maiden name is a matter of some doubt. Some people have her listed as Keister and some as Olinger. In 1893 her daughter Hannah Ellen Long got married for the third time in Monona County Iowa. On her applicaton for a marriage license she listed her parents as Ephraim Long and Hannah Olinger. I believe her name was Olinger. I would love to see any information anyone has as to why so many people think her name was Keister. Hannah and Ephraim Long had ten children:

Louemma Catherine Long 1836-1880
Elizabeth Myra (or Mariah) Long 1838-1918
Malinda Sarah Long 1839-1927
Floyd P. Long 1842-1914
Hulda J Long 1845-1893
Amanda Margaret Long 1847-?
Hannah Ellen Long 1847-1898
Josephus "Joseph" Long 1852-1909
John David Long 1856-1921
Martin Luther Long 1859-?
