SHREVEPORT, LA – Funeral services for Mr. Eugene A. Gwin, age 79, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 1994 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Pat Day. Burial will be at Forest Park West in Shreveport, La. with Military Rites conducted by the 12th District, Dept. of La., Veterans of Foreign Wars, Honor Guard.

Funeral home visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, 1994 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mr. Gwin died July 10, 1994 in Shreveport, La. He was a native of Jackson, Alabama and a resident of Shreveport for 50 years. He was retired from LSU Medical Center after 26 years of service in the Screening Department. He was a member of the American Legion Post #14; Sergeant at Arms for 27 years; and a member of DAV and VFW and 40 and 8.

He was preceded in death by one son, Clifton Eugene Gwin.

He is survived by his wife, Clifton Ewell Doggett Gwin; daughter, Cinda Gwin McKenzie and husband Steve; grandchildren, Stephanie and Sam McKinzie all of Shreveport; brothers, Robert Gwin of Rayville, La. and Benny Gwin of Monroe, La.
