JOPLIN, MO — Mary J. Watts, age 79, Joplin, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at her home.

Mary was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Joplin, daughter of the late Luther Isgrigg and Bernice Little Isgrigg.

She graduated from Joplin High School, was a homemaker, and was an active member of Byers Avenue United Methodist Church.

She was also a member of the Women's Club of Joplin.

She married John Paul Watts on June 28, 1952, in Joplin. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1987.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Howard Isgrigg, Billy Isgrigg and Jimmie Isgrigg.

Survivors include her son, Jeffery Watts and wife Joni, of Tyler, Texas; a daughter, Becky Seigel and husband Steve, of Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren, Justin Watts and Magen Starks; great-grandson, Jadin Starks; sister-in-laws, Barbara Isgrigg and Evelyn Isgrigg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jack Jones and Rev. Max Raney officiating.

Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
