Fred Westermeyer Is Called To Rest In Town Meeme
Fred Westermeyer, 62, brother of August Westermeyer of Sheboygan, passed away at his home in the town of Meeme, Manitowoc county, last night after a lingering illness.
Born in the town of Meeme on July 24, 1869, the son of Fred and Helen Westermeyer. He attended the local school as a youth and then started farming which he continued up to the time of his illness and death.
The survivors include Mr. Westermeyer’s mother, Mrs. Helen Westermeyer; three children, Henry, Marie and Florence Westermeyer; two sisters, Mrs. F. W. Ochs of Mosel, and Mrs. H.F. Meyer of St. Paul, Minn.; one brother, August Westermeyer of Sheboygan. His wife preceded him in death sixteen years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Walter Ahrens Funeral home at Howards Grove at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Mr. Mohme will officiate and burial will be made in Schwartzwald cemetery.

Howards Grove.—Funeral services for Fred Westermeyer, who died Thursday night at his home in Town Meeme, will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home and at 2 o clock at the Evangelical church at Schwartzwald. The Rev. Fred Mohme will officiate and interment will be made in the church cemetery. The body can be viewed at the Ahrens Funeral Home until the time of services.
