Mrs. Esther Adler, 61, Windsor, CO, died Sunday Oct. 23, 1983, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO.
She was born June 14, 1922, in Windsor, CO to Jacob H. Sr. and Katherine Stoll Jacoby. She was married to George Adler December 27, 1942 in Berthoud, CO.
She attended school in the Windsor area, and after her marriage, the couple farmed in the Windsor area. She was a lifelong member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor, and was involved in women's fellowship and the church choir, and sang in funerals for many years. She was also actively involved in the Northern Colorado Ostomy Association for nine years, serving as secretary of the organization, and was also a member of the Plainview Social Club.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Errol (Sheila) Ketterling of Northglenn, CO; one son Ron Adler of Windsor; three brothers, Jacob Jr. and William, both of Windsor, and Harry T. of Denver; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Frieda) Haas of Windsor; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mollie Ruff.
A funeral service will be 2 p. m. Tuesday at Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor and burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor, CO.
