Earl Harron Nichols, 39, associated with Heckenhauer and Son at 301 North High St., died at the family residence, 604 Hoyt Ave., Friday at 7:45 a.m. following a brief illness. He was an active member of American Legion Post No. 19.
Surviving are the widow, Edith; two sons, Patrick and Jack Earl Nichols, and three daughters, Phyllis, Nina Ruth and Janice Ellen Nichols, all at home; the father, John H. Nichols of Chillicothe, Ohio; three brothers, Pearl and Dewey Nichols of Lima, Ohio, and Dennis Nichols of Muncie, and a sister, Mrs. Goldie Gage of Kilgore, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Meeks Mortuary, burial following in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon, Saturday.
