Mr. Jerry W. Hill, age 66, a 19 year resident of Newport Beach, Ca., and a former resident of Madera, passed away on February 29, 2008 after an extended illness. Born in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Wilma and Issac Hill, he later moved to Madera, Ca, where Jerry attended Madera Schools, graduating with the Class of 1959 at Madera Union High School. Jerry retired from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a Senior Liquidator, following a career of 20 years with the agency.

Jerry is survived by his wife Jean Tracy of Elk Grove, Ca., and by his siblings; Don Hill of Fresno, Ca., Larry Hill, Bill Hill, and Tom Buckley all of Madera, Ca., Jim Buckley of Newbury Park, Ca. and Barbara Johnson of Simi Valley, Ca. Also surviving Jerry are numerous nieces and nephews.

Private Family Services will be held at Jay Chapel in Madera, Ca. Interment will follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
