Jocie Archer Roebuck was born in September 16, 1903, to Eugene and Agnes Tomlinson Archer a short distance from the Wesley Chapel church and Tomlinson Cemetery. Both her ancestors and her husband's (Garrison Roebuck) had settled generations before in and around Mercer County, Ohio. She was the mother of Lee, Lucille, Lois, Lamar, Forest, and Virgil, a caring wife and helpmeet, and shared in the ministry of her husband, Reverend Garrison Roebuck. She lived to know eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and left a Christian legacy of generosity and kindness.
