MRS. ROSE L. SNYDER, widow of Mathias J. Snyder, of 207 Frederick St., East Syracuse, died at her home yesterday after a short illness.
Born in Minoa, she resided in East Syracuse 65 years.
She was a member of Easter Lodge, the women’s auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. She was also a communicant of St. Matthew’s Church where she belonged to the Altar and Rosary Societies.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George T. Hale; six sisters, Mrs. Arthur Peters and Mrs. Robert Waldkirch, both of Daytona Beach, Fla., Mrs. Anna Bateson, Mrs. John Griener and Mrs. Leo Meyers, all of Minoa, and Mrs. George Weidman; three brothers, Adam and Jay Bucher of Syracuse and Joseph Bucher of Rochester; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Delaney & Greabell Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Church. Interment will be in Minoa Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

Caution: 1910 census Syracuse NY has SNYDER Rose/38/wd and Mildred/17. While the age for Rose would fit, this is a different Rose Snyder.
