"In Memory of Joseph Bade" Joseph Bade passed away at his home south of Vienna Wednesday morning, January 28, 1925, of pneumonia. He was 83 years of age. He was born in Germany and came to this country with his parents in 1844. He was married to Sarah Barnhart, July 26th, 1870, by Rev. Father Overbeck at St. Thomas. To this union were born seven children, two boys and five girls. One daughter preceded him in death. The living are Henry and Casper Bade, Mary Honse, Lucy Nelson, Josephine Terwilliger, Vienna and Catherine Edwards. Mrs. Bade died July 30, 1922. Mr. Bade had four brothers: Henry, Stephen, Ferdinand and John P. Bade, one sister, Elizabeth; all preceded him in death. Funeral Services were at Visitation Church, January 29, at 9 a.m. Burial in Visitation Cemetery.
