MRS. JACK (DOLLIE EVELYN) MASSEY, 67, of 2150 North 5th, was dead on arrival at Cox Memorial Hospital at 8:50 p.m. Thursday. Services are pending at Elliott's Funeral Home
Mrs. Massey was born Feb. 26, 1900 in Missouri and was married in Durant, Oklahoma in 1918. The family moved to Abilene nine months ago.

Survivors include her husband ; three sons, Wiley of 2115 North 5th, Marvin of 2801 Orange and Lonnie of Santa Ana, California ; six daughters, Mrs. George Reynolds of Odessa, Mrs. James Brown, 441 Kirkwood, Mrs. Earl Woomer of Champagne, Illinois, Mrs. Benny Ross of Resenberg, Mrs. Sue Todd, 417 Meander, Mrs. LeRoy Haynes of Springfield, Missouri ; two brothers, Leamon Sherrell of Denison and Nolan Sherrell of Denison ; five sisters, Mrs. Ina Richardson of Kilgore, Mrs. Bird Pierce of Vernon, Mrs. Beatrice Sherrell of Vernon, Mrs. Ollie Bales of Borger, Mrs. Marie Brewer of Denison ; 25 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Dolly Evelyn (Sherrell) Massey is a daughter of Jonathan Martin Sherrell & Mollie Elizabeth (Wilson) Sherrill.
Note - Some records have the name Sherrell spelt Sherrill.
