Vincent A. Bruno
Vincent A. Bruno, age 75, of Camarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 1995, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Camarillo, following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Erie, Pa., and had been a county resident for 11 years, coming from Santa Monica. Mr. Bruno was a retired real estate broker having been in business for approximately 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 677 in Westwood, a member of the Al Malaikah Temple in Los Angeles. He was a past president of Al Malaikah Temple Shrine Chanters. He was an honorary member of El Bekal Temple in Long Beach, the Long Beach Scottish Rite. HE was a past president of Santa Monica Bay Shrine Club and a member of the Santa Monica Bay Masonic Club. He was also past Exulted Ruler of the Elks Lodge No. 906 in Santa Monica. Mr. Bruno was a WWII veteran and received a Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife Bernice Bruno of Camarillo; son Vincent Bruno Jr. of San Fernando Valley; daughter Gloria Verdugo of Fallbrook; sisters Marie Hearn of Alhambra, Yolanda Gumfory of Mission Hills and Dottie Caminiti of Sun Valley; brothers Bob Bruno of Erie, Pa., and Pat Bruno of San Fernando Valley; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1995, from 9-11 am in the Chapel of the Islands, Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo. A chapel service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville, WV.
Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital in Los Angeles. Arrangements are under the direction of Conejo Mountain Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Camarillo.
