Perhaps she became a Catholic and used her baptismal name. Witnessed by William and Lillian Morrison [step-siblings]. Edward was a shipping clerk at time of marriage. Mabel was living at 49 11th Avenue in Newark. The church was located on corner of (#616) Clinton Avenue & Van Ness Place.
Mrs. Mabel Hoagland Beyer of 163 State Street, Bloomfield, widow of Edward F. Beyer, died yesterday of a brief illness in Mountainside Hospital. She was 60y.
Mrs. Beyer was born in Califon and moved to Bloomfield in 1910. She was employed in the Westinghouse Lamp Division in Bloomfield for 15 years until she became ill.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Radie Hoyle, at home, a step-sister, Miss Lillian R. Morrison, at home, and a step-brother, William C. Morrison, of Nutley.
The funeral will be Friday from Peter J. Quinn Funeral Home, 320 Belleville Avenue, Bloomfield with a mass at 10 AM in Sacred Heart church, Bloomfield.
