Catherine Agnes Murphy, born in 1887, lived in New York City with her parents, Edward & Frances Kennedy Murphy. Her siblings were Frances Marie Murphy Doyle (b. 1889, d. 1990), Edward Murphy (b. 1892, d. ?), Anna Murphy Sacco (b.1896, d.?), and Marie R. Murphy Pospisil (b. 1901, d. 1976). Their mother, Frances died in 1901 and Catherine and her dad raised the younger children until Catherine married her husband Charles H. Reiners in 1909. Together they raised the Murphy children as well as 3-children born to Catherine and her husband who was a Policeman in NYC.
