Alice Barbara Leonard June 15, 1903 to April 9, 2005.

Alice Barbara Leonard, of Loveland, formerly of Boulder, died of natural causes Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in Lafayette. She was 101.

The daughter of Albert Fletcher Naomi Dragoo Fletcher, she was born June 15, 1903, in Eaton County, Mich. She married Jesse Arlo Leonard on June 18, 1922, in Longmont. She lived in Boulder from 1922 to 1977.

Mrs. Leonard was a member of Deborah Circle at First United Methodist Church of Boulder. She was a volunteered at Boulder schools, helping children with reading, and as a Pink Lady at Boulder Community Hospital.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and family gatherings. "She was inspirational," her family said. "Her family loves her. She will be greatly missed."

Survivors include two sons, Duane A. Leonard and Kenneth R. Leonard; two daughters, Dorene J. Leonard and Rose Marie Dale; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and three brothers.

Services were Friday in Loveland. Interment was in Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder. Darrell Howe Mortuary in Lafayette was in charge of arrangements.
