He served as Captain in his own Company in Combs KY Mounted Gunmen called out for protection of the Sabine Frontier in 1836. Burr owned several hundred acres of land in Mill Creek Pct., Carroll Co, KY.

They were in the 1830 census in Gallatin Co, KY. Living with them was a female b.1815-1820.

They were in the 1840 census of Carroll Co, KY. Charlotte and the children were in the 1850 census of Carroll Co, KY.

Burr is apparently buried in this cemetery, yet there is no marker found for him here. However, this is the same land that he owned in the Mill Creek Precinct.

I am terribly sorry to the family for the damage that was caused from shaving cream which was sprayed on the headstones in this cemetery.
