Jim Baker, age 64, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 in Childress. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in Fairview Church of Christ. Officiant to be announced. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Jim Baker was born to Frank and Ruby Baker in Marshall, Arkansas on February 2, 1946. He married Mary Ellen Garcia on February 19, 1971. Jim worked for Royal Park from 1969 - 1985, then at Lancers Mobile Homes. Later he worked for LT Equipment. Jim enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved being with his family.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Baker.
