Mr. William Franklin Coleman age 59 of Supply died Friday January 14, 2011 at his home.

Franklin was born in Brunswick County on April 19, 1951 and was the son of the late Francis A. and Christine Fulford Coleman. He graduated from Clearwater High School in Clearwater Florida during which time he was recognized as an excellent pitcher. Following graduation he was signed with Baltimore Orioles as a pitcher from 1967 thru 1969. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting.

He is survived by the love of his life, Yvonne Holt of Goldsboro; a brother, Wade Coleman and wife Tracy of Shallotte; a sister, Jill Herndon and husband Claude of Supply; three nieces, Tiffany Coleman, Elisa Gunther, Elliott Coleman; three nephews, Brandon Coleman, Eric Herndon, Turner Coleman and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday January 16, 2011 at 3pm at Sabbath Home Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Perko officiating.
