Mrs. Timmerberg was born in New Florence on July 12, 1914, the daughter of the late Gustav M. and Elzada (Landrum) Huenefeld.
She was the widow of Alfred F. Timmerberg. They were married June 13, 1931, at Montgomery City.
Goldie was a member of Hermann United Methodist Church and the Order of Easter Star since 1946. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four grandsons, Michael J. Niederhelm of Holts Summit, Daniel W. Niederhelm of Defiance, Todd Timmerberg of St. Louis and Matthew Timmerberg of St. Charles; by nine great-grandchildren, James M. Niederhelm of Holts Summit, Brian D. Niederhelm of O'Fallon, Ashley K. Niederhelm of Springfield, Nicholas Timmerberg of St. Louis, Christopher Timmerberg of St. Louis, James Timmerberg of St. Louis, Cody Timmerberg of St. Louis, Logan Timmerberg of St. Charles and Lucas Timmerberg of St. Charles; and by three great-great grandchildren, Trevor and Ozzy Niederhelm and Matthew Timmerberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by a daughter, Mildred C. Wissmann; two sons James E. and Roger D. Timmerberg; and a grandson, Nick Timmerberg.
Funeral services were held at Hermann United Methodist Church, Hermann, at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 7, with Rev. John Hoos officiating.
Burial was at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann.
