Born May 24, 1917, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Harper Bair, Sr. and Lula (Lemon) Bair, and the stepdaughter of Matilda (Gouker) Bair.
Ruth was retired from Hanover Wood Heel Company. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the McSherrystown Moose.
Surviving are four children, Francis Weaver of Carlisle, Burnell Weaver of Westminster, MD, Susan Topper of McSherrystown, and Sylvia Rudisill of Hanover; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harper J. Bair, Jr. of McSherrystown; and a sister, Harriet Decker of Hanover.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Albaugh; a son, Bonaventure Weaver; and two sisters, Loretta Berkheimer and Helen Slaybaugh.
Interment: Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown.
