Longtime Moultrie resident Elton C. Bozeman died Sunday at Colquitt Regional
Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 87.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Henderson Funeral Home chapel with
burial to follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Winston Baker will
officiate, and Mr. Bozeman's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Bozeman was a farmer. Born April 24, 1902, in Worth County, he was the son
of the late George Bozeman and Mish Davis Bozeman.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Jacobs Bozeman of Moultrie, one son, Allen C.
Bozeman of Moultrie; four daughters: Lois Taylor, Nancy Hortman and Lenora
Johnson, all of Moultrie and Kirby Goff of Thomasville; two sisters., Mrs.
Jessie Willis and Mrs. Grady Paulk, both of Moultrie; 17 grandchildren, 32
great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Henderson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
