Son of Noble and Ella (Gordon) Cutts. Reared and educated in Centerville and lived in Ottumwa prior to moving to Fairfield in 1930. Married Helen Mary Kennedy on Aug. 15, 1930 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield. He was a coreman for 32 years at Fairfield Aluminum Castings Co., he also worked at the Dexter Co. and Iowa Malleable Iron Co., Kennedy Car Wash and janitor at Jay Marcus law office.
Surviving are his wife, four sons, Larry, Daniel, Kenneth and Thomas. One daughter Mary Helen Nupp. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Jack and Bob. One sister Isal Reynolds.
