Janie Mayhan, a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and friend, passed away on Jan. 1, at Evanston Regional Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 48 years, Robert "Bob" Mayhan; her kids, LaQuana of Casper, Blake (Wendy) of Lyman, and Dallas of Casper; her grandkids, Ray, Janie Mae, Lois, Jenna, LaKisha, Brittany, Shania, Coltan, Bodie, Kaci, Kelly, Zinniah, Fortune and Marshall; and her great-grand kids, Natasha, Raynie, Cody and Daniel.
Janie was born May 1, 1947 in Lindsay, Okla. She married Bob on June 21, 1962. They moved to Casper in 1975 and to Bridger Valley in 1979. Janie loved to play the slots, to scratch lottery tickets, to go camping, to work in her yard, and to shop. She was a great bartender and loved being a bartender. Janie loved her dogs — Louie, Mumps and Bubpie — and spoiled them rotten.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae and Pete Winters; a brother, Charles Ray; and two grandkids, Amber and Roper.
No funeral or memorial service will be held per Janie's request
