William Parks, 77 Dies Here Today
William Parks, age 77 years, passed away at his home, 313 East Harris street early this morning from a complication of diseases of about five weeks duration. He was a retired farmer, having lived in Sullivan county many years.
Besides his widow, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Albert Wolfe, of Carlisle and Mrs. Richard Brown of Sullivan; two sons and one daughter preceded him in death. One brother, Alexander Parks, of Dixon, Ill. and one sister, Amelia Grimes of Valparaiso, Ind. also survive.
The body was taken to the Railsback Funeral Home and prepared for burial. It was taken to the residence at 4 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ on East Jackson street Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Carlisle.
