Hugh Williams was the 4th from the last child of Redmond Roger and Josephine Elizabeth Butram Williams. He married Gaither Pearl Ware on 19 Sep 1915. They are the parents of 6 children; Frances Lucille, Glenden Roger(both of these children died very young and are buried in unmarked graves the New Hope Cemetery, Yell Co. AR), David Polk, Madge Lee, John Hubert, Tony Clinton.

OBITUARY FOR HUGH WILLIAMS;

Funeral services for Hugh Williams of Bragg City were conducted yesterday at 2:30 p.m. at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett. Brother Adrian Maynard officiated. Interment was in Dunklin Memorial Gardens with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kinnett in charge of arrangements.

The son of Redman Roger and Josephine Burtrum Williams he was born July 15, 1898 in Dardanelle, Ark. He died Friday at the Dunklin County Memorial Hospital at the age of 65.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gaither Ware Williams of Bragg City; three sons, David of Bragg City, John Hubert of West Memphis, Ark., and Tony of Punta Gorda, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Mage Lee Tucker of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Joe Williams of Dardanelle, Ark., and Claude Williams of Caruthersville; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Adams and Mrs. Imongene Carr both of Danville, Ark., and Mrs. Beatrice Womack of Dexter; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Boyce Gooden, Sam Duncan, Clois Dortch, Judson Goodrich, Euell Dotson and Vivian Downing.
