Crelva Lorena Waters was born February 21, 1922 in Rhea, Oklahoma to Ila Ola and Posey Stigleman. She passed away June 16, 2004 at Hydro, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 25 days. Crelva attended school t the Mt. View One Room School north of Butler and Butler High School. She was married to Edd William Waters at Clinton, Oklahoma on August 17, 1938. They lived in Butler, Carter, and Mt. View, Oklahoma before moving to Sayre in 1955 to make their home. Crelva worked at the Sayre memorial Hospital and the Sunset Motel before her retirement in 1982. She was also a seamstress and loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by 2 Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Laveta and Joel Rippetoe, Sayre, OK, Rena and Thomas Holland, Jenks, OK; 1 Son and Daughter-In-Law, Mike and Shirley Waters, Weatherford, OK; 2 Brothers, Gladney Stigleman, Leedy, OK, Eldred Stigleman, Elk City OK, 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
