FRANCIS JOHN ABERNATHY

Francis John Abernathy died at his home near Kirkville Monday night at 9:45 o'clock, at the age of 34 years.
Mr. Abernathy was born March 16, 1878.

The survivors are his wife and one three month old child, his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Abernathy of Richland township, six sisters Mrs. Anna Bancroft and Mrs. W. Holland of South Dakota, Mrs. Carl Fairchilds of Minnesota, and Mrs. James Guthrie of Texas, and Lucy and Ruby at home and two brothers, Gus of Richland township and Theodore at home.

He was a member of the Kirkville Presbyterian church and of the I.O.O.P. and Yeoman lodges at Kirkville.

The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Kirkville Presbyterian church. Rev. Robert Horn will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Kirkville cemetery.
