Leland Groover born in Boone County IN December 20 1894 died at the home of his parents in Worth township Tuesday July 9 at eleven o'clock am. He had been sick five days with ptomaine poisoning and was 17 years 6 months and 20 days of age. He was the son of John H and Sarah A Groover who survive and also leaves two brothers Jacob Guy Groover and Luther Groover and five sisters Ivy Ege Mrs Ruby Gibbs Violet Groover and Fairy Groover. Leland Groover was a member of the Lutheran church at Whitestown.
The funeral will be preached by Rev Wartzler at the Lutheran church Whitestown at 10am Friday. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
