Mrs Anna D Groover Expired Yesterday Heart Disease Cause Of Her Death-Was Seventy-Nine Years Of Age Mrs Anna D Groover born in Bavaria Germany July 7 1841 passed away at 3 O'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs J N Davis one mile northeast of Lebanon at the age of 79 years 10 months and 16 days. Death was caused by heart disease. She had been ill six years. Deceased came with her parents to America when five years of age and settled near Lawrenceburg where she was married in 1859 to William Groover who died April 13 1910. In 1865 They came to Boone county and have resided here since that time. Mrs Groover is survived by five children John H and A F Groover of near Whitestown William W of near Shepherdsville Mrs Albert Beck of near Hazelrigg and Mrs J N Davis of near Lebanon and one brother Leonard Dohlemann who resides near Dearborn county. A son Cleveland E Groover died in 1909 a daughter Mrs Dora F Jaynes died in 1919 and a son George Groover died in January of this year. Two daughters died in infancy. Mrs Groover was a member of the German Lutheran church in Dearborn county Indiana. The funeral will be conducted from the Presbyterian church here at 1:30pm Wednesday. Rev B L Westenberger of Portland and Rev Hardy Lumb of this city officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill.
