Stockwell - Mrs. Bessie B. Skinner, 85, died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday in Home Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient four weeks. She was born in Missouri and was married in 1911 to John Floyd Skinner who died in 1956. Mrs. Skinner was a member of Stockwell United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include a son, John F. Skinner of Lowell; and two daughters, Lucille Harshman and Margaret Goodwin, both of Stockwell. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell. Services there 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Interment Johnson cemetery. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
