James Douglas Williamson, 59, of Indian Lake, died April 13, 2004, at Baptist Hospital in Orange.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend W.W. Smith and Reverend Jerry Maxwell will officiate. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Williamson was born in Pollock, Louisiana and lived most of his life in the Orange area. He was a ship fitter and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Douglas Williamson; daughter, Melissa Anne Sarth both of Indian Lake; brothers, Ray Williamson of Orange, and James Williamson of Vinton; sisters, Thelma White of Baton Rouge, LA, and Edna Peddy of Vidor; and grandchildren, Jadelynn Rose Faith Touchet, Kattie Rene' Touchet, and Morgan Nicole Sarth.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Williamson, Randy Guillory, Wendell Moore, Charles Woodard, "Buddy" Lee Dean, and Kevin Wayne Williamson.
