Beulah Francis Tussey, 81, of Flatwoods, formerly of Westwood, died Monday afternoon, January 3, 2011, at her residence.

She was born January 5, 1929, in Floyd County, a daughter of the late Thomas and Katie Francis.

She was a devoted homemaker and attended Westwood Christian Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Tussey, in 1994, two sons, Paul Tussey Jr. and Harry Tussey, a sister, and five brothers.

Surviving are sons, Don (Elsie) Tussey of Westwood, Mark Tussey of Ashland, Tim (Mona) Tussey of Westwood, Kenny Tussey of Ashland, Steve (Karen) Tussey of Westwood and John Tussey of Flatwoods, daughters Linda Cornwell of Ashland, Barbara Elliott of Flatwoods, Vanessa (Ernie) Jones of Cardington, Ohio, Sheila (Kirby) Mabery, Kathy (Frank) Shanks and Carolyn (Brian) Thomas, all of Flatwoods, Pam (Terry) Frye of Huntington, W.Va., and Peggy Joann Dudgeon of Ashland, 33 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Brother Edgil Whitt and Brother Rick Porter. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011, at the funeral home.
