Aaron was first married to Mary (aka Rosa Mary or Mary Margaret) Opinsky. They were divorced in 1946. She was murdered in 1949 in Tennessee at the age of 29. She was apparently a penniless vagabond and claimed Aaron had died in a car wreck and that she had lost a set of twins. She had a history of arrests for soliciting and loitering. Aaron remarried Emogene Dodson in 1950 in Detroit, Michigan.
