Commonwealth Reporter, Mon. Oct. 7, 1946, p. 16:3. Funeral services for John H. Abler, 75, a retired farmer, who died at 3 p.m. Saturday after collapsing at Arndt and Main streets, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Zacherl funeral home and at 9 a.m. at the chapel of the Henry Boyle Catholic Home For Aged, where he resided. The Rev. John Chmielewski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Charles cemetery. Survivors are four nephews and two nieces, the Rev. Alfred Abler of Dallas, Tex., and Nick Abler and Peter and William Eggers, city, and Mrs. John Worm of Wauwatosa and Mrs. Marie Netko of Milwaukee.

Out-of-town persons attending services included Mrs. Arthur Netko and daughter, Patsy, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. John Worm of Wauwatosa; and many others from surrounding towns.
