SPRINGTOWN - Derwin Royce Lancaster of Springtown, transportation director for Springtown school district, died Thursday at his home. He was 59.
Funeral was Saturday at the Church of Christ in Springtown, where he was a member.
Burial was in Springtown Cemetery.
White's Funeral Home in Springtown was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lancaster was born in Borger and had worked for the school district for 24 years. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors: Wife, Marvelene Lancaster of Springtown; son, Wendell Lancaster of Fort Worth; four daughters, Teresa Ivey, Denese Altom and Carla Cannon, all of Springtown, and Cynthia Grantham of Miami, Texas; mother, Lucy Verue Lancaster of Springtown; three brothers, Ernie Lancaster of Burleson, Raymond Lancaster of Amarillo and Bruce Lancaster of Springtown; and 12 grandchildren.
