Darmstädter Stadtkreis
Hessen, Germany
Death: Apr. 29, 1921

Elizabeth came with her parents to the US via "Amberstand" (Amsterdam?) on 17 May 1847, arriving in New York City on 24 June 1847.

She and her parents appeared in the 1850 US Census in the city of Baltimore, Maryland; but by 1853, when Elizabeth and her sister Margaret were baptized at St. John's United Church of Christ in Madison, Indiana, her family had relocated there.

Elizabeth married Lewis Bechman, also of Madison, Indiana, on 19 Jan 1871, and bore 11 children, 9 of which survived to adulthood.
